Major Crimes Division clothing co. began in 2016 as a hobby, a vessel for my art. I started working out of my garage in Carson, California mostly with screen-printing and patch designing. Eventually I started designing pins (which were really popular around 2010-2018. In 2019 I purchased my first embroidery machine and started making hats, they quickly became my top sellers.

In late 2020 I upgraded to an industrial embroidery machine, and then came the Covid-19 lockdowns.

Lockdowns trapped everyone at home, pushing myself to be more creative and pushing Major Crimes Division closer to what the brand looks like today. Around 2024, I decided to add a mascot named Blort the Voidborn, a purposefully ambiguous Alien / Vampiric creature, it was the final piece missing in the identity of the brand or ‘shop’ as I call it.

In 2025 I finally decided to purchase a proper vehicle and started doing more in-person events. I attended Midsummer Scream for the first time as a vendor and got to meet tons of you very amazing people.

Reading reviews is one thing, but meeting you all in-person at these shows really makes everything worth it. As an introvert, y’all have helped me come out of my cocoon and feel comfortable vending and talking to you all, so I can’t thank you all enough, I love y’all. Thank you for joining me on this crazy adventure, and thank you for loving the brand, (and Blort).
