I began in 2016 working out of my garage where I still mostly work out of in Carson, California the southern fringes of Los Angeles. I began with screen printing and at the time what started as a simple outlet for my creativity, began morphing into a whole world of creatures, ghouls and aliens, which my friends and I jokingly call the Major Crimes Universe.

I still remember my first sale to a stranger (I’m looking at you San Francisco) it was the spark that started the whole adventure. From 2016 to about 2019 I was still mostly treating the brand as a hobby or side-gig. A big change happened around the time of the pandemic, early 2021 to about 2023. Online sales skyrocketed, giving me the opportunity to re-invest in my own brand. I ventured beyond patches and pins and began adding more clothing to the mix. Hats, jackets, sweaters, beanies and a bigger presence on social media began to snowball the brand into what it is today. The Major Crimes Division that you see now, although having been born in 2016 really didn’t take it’s current form until around 2021/2022.

By 2024 I was confident in my brand identity something I had struggled with for years. The brand became known among customers as being retro, simple, and unique. At the 10 year mark, all I can say is that I’m happy to have seen the brand evolve, and I’m even more happy to see people truly enjoy what they buy from the shop.
